Job summary

Anite in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and support custom rack and system-level products. You will prepare schematics and wiring diagrams, select components, and verify designs through tests and documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years in related fields, with strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills. On-site position based in Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics engineering from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical/electronic system integration, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience supporting products from design through production release and manufacturing support.
• Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in project planning, execution, and delivery from concept through product release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and project management.
• Provide technical leadership during prototype development, first-build activities, and product deployment.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered during development and production.
• Work with production teams during pilot runs and initial production builds to ensure successful launches.
• Develop and control engineering documentation across the product lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, value engineering, and process improvements.
• Adopt emerging technologies and digital tools to improve design accuracy and productivity.
