Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer for on-site work. You will support electronic testing, assembly and lab operations for electronic modules, maintain lab equipment, and coordinate asset tagging and data collection with the team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, 1–3 years of hands-on experience, and a disciplined approach to testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering required.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronic testing and lab operations.
• Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic measurement activities.
• Ability to perform testing independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with oscilloscope, power supply, and electronic load equipment.
• Soldering experience (SMT preferred) and basic PCB handling.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong planning, coordination and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing on electronic module samples and measure parameters.
• Perform AM2 measurements and analyze Energy/Spike curves.
• Support software flashing into electronic module devices.
• Operate oscilloscopes, power supplies and electronic loads for tests.
• Perform hand soldering, SMT touch-up, and PCBA rework.
• Record and maintain accurate test data and documentation.
• Coordinate monthly asset tagging for lab equipment (ETD3).Support monthly scrapping activities and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain Lab cleanliness and organized workspaces; ensure proper cataloging.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet requirements.
