Job summary

Ansell is seeking a Shift Engineering Supervisor (AO) to lead and supervise maintenance activities at the Kulim site. You will ensure safety compliance, coordinate with security and emergency response teams, and oversee electricians and technicians on shift.

Ideal candidates bring strong electrical knowledge, troubleshooting experience, and supervisory skills to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment and support continuous production improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Electrical wiring installation knowledge.
• Supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of Electrical supply Acts and IEE regulations governing the wiring and instruments control.
• Understand PLC applications and instrument control.
• Able to read and understanding engineering drawings.
• Able to work on shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise plant routine maintenance.
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot breakdowns during the shift.
• Provide support to other departments.
• Ensure safety compliance with JBE Electrical supply Acts and regulations.
• Maintain preventive maintenance checklists for SOPs and QA temperature controllers.
• Supervise electricians, fitters and technicians on shift.
• Be main site contact during shifts outside normal working hours.
• Respond to security issues and coordinate with security personnel during events.
