Job summary

SPEEDY BEST SDN BHD, based in Setia Alam, Selangor, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to estimate costs, prepare bills, and manage contracts for electrical construction projects. You will validate on-site installations, control budgets, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely progress claims.

Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in QS or related field and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or costing for electrical construction.
• Basic knowledge in reading construction drawings and preparing quantity measurements.

Responsibilities

• Estimation & Tendering: Reviewing electrical drawings to estimate costs for conduits, cables, and fixtures.
• Bills of Quantities (BQ): Preparing detailed lists of electrical materials and labor required.
• Contract Management: Handling subcontractor tenders, payments, and final accounts.
• Site Measurements: Verifying on-site installations for monthly progress claims.
• Cost Management: Managing budgets, material procurement, and variations.
