Job summary

Elrois Group is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality control activities for data center construction projects. You will inspect electrical systems, review drawings, and coordinate testing and commissioning with contractors and consultants.

The role requires 3–4 years in QA/QC or site inspection on construction sites, preference for data center experience. You will travel as needed and mobilize to Port Dickson for project site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in Electrical QA/QC or site inspection within construction projects.
• Experience in data center projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee quality control activities for electrical installation works on data center construction projects.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems, equipment, materials, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and inspection activities with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Identify non-conformance issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and project documentation.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with applicable regulations, codes, client requirements, and industry standards.
• Participate in site audits, quality meetings, and project reviews.
• Support project teams in maintaining high-quality workmanship and achieving project milestones.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Electrical Quality Control, QA/QC, or site inspection within construction projects.
• Experience in data center projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing procedures, quality standards, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with inspection and testing documentation, quality management systems, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and relocate based on project requirements.

Additional Information

• Immediate starters or candidates with up to 1 month's notice period are preferred.
• Initial assignment will be based in Klang Valley.
• Mobilization to Port Dickson is expected in November/December 2026.
• Project duration is estimated at 2–3 years.
