Job summary

AG STAFFING seeks an Electrical Project Manager for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) in JB/Data Centre construction. You will lead mission-critical system delivery, from security and access control to CCTV networks and BMS/EPMS integration, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors and subcontractors.

This on-site role requires strong BIM capability, experience with structured cabling, and precise software calibration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mission-Critical System Delivery & Integration

• Security & Access Control: Oversee the deployment of high-tier physical security infrastructure, including biometric access control systems, physical access control systems (PACS), anti-tailgating mantraps, turnstiles, and perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS).
• CCTV & Video Analytics: Manage the installation of comprehensive high-definition IP-CCTV networks with advanced video analytics for data hall monitoring, fence-line surveillance, and absolute tracking of physical asset movements.
• BMS & EPMS Integration: Lead the deployment of the Building Management System (BMS) and Environmental/Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) to track temperature, humidity, leakages, and power metrics across the facility.
• Structured Cabling: Supervise the installation of optical fiber and copper backbone/horizontal cabling systems, including overhead or underfloor cable pathways, splicing, and server room patch frames.

2. Life Safety & Environmental Protection

• Early Warning Fire Detection: Manage the installation of Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA / Aspirating Smoke Detection) systems to identify structural hazards before open flames erupt.
• Interlocking Controls: Coordinate complex logical trip matrices between the fire alarm system, gaseous fire suppression systems, mechanical smoke extraction fans, and electrical door release controls.

3. Coordination, Software Calibration & Procurement

• BIM & Cable Route Control: Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) to map dedicated ELV containment paths, avoiding electrical interference (EMI) from high-voltage busducts and cabling.
• Software Commissioning: Oversee the programming, GUI design, network switch configurations, and software integration of different ELV components into a centralized master control room.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Tracking: Manage specialized specialized vendors and ELV subcontractors, verifying progress claims and strictly vetting variation orders (VOs).
