Job summary

GMT Consultants Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to join their M&E consultancy team in Ara Damansara. You will prepare and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, and equipment selections for mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring coordination with architects and engineers across the project lifecycle.

You will provide guidance on energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with international standards, and assist with tender documents,

Qualifications

• Prepare and review design calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and equipment selections for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure fully coordinated designs that integrate with the overall project.
• Provide expert advice to clients on system selection, energy efficiency, sustainability, and innovative solutions, referencing international standards and green building certifications.
• Prepare tender documents, technical specifications, and bill of quantities (BQ), and support clients during procurement.
• Conduct site inspections, review contractor submissions, and ensure works comply with approved designs, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Salary Range: RM3,200 – RM8,000

Job Description:

Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure fully coordinated designs that integrate seamlessly with the overall project

Provide expert advice to clients on system selection, energy efficiency, sustainability, and innovative solutions, often referencing international standards and green building certifications

Prepare tender documents, technical specifications, and bill of quantities (BQ), and support clients during the procurement process

Conduct site inspections, review contractor submissions, and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and regulatory requirements

Attend client meetings, present technical proposals, and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle
