Job summary

IOI OLEOCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES BERHAD in Prai, Penang, is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance professional to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, MCCs, and valve actuators. You will read P&ID and loop diagrams, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safe, compliant operation across production lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance and instrumentation.
• Ability to read P&ID, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings.
• Basic understanding of PLC, DCS, SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, MCCs, and capacitor banks.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize plant downtime.
• Perform electrical installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and electric actuators and solenoids; calibrate and tune valve positioners.
• Assist in loop checking, instrument testing, and commissioning activities.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
