Job summary

Air Products Prai, Penang is recruiting a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to maintain and supervise plant C&I systems, ensuring minimal downtime and safe operation. You will liaise with operations on preventive maintenance and SAP PM tasks, and update control diagrams as needed.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electronic/Control/Instrumentation Engineering with 4+ years of related experience, and proficiency with PLC/DCS and instrumentation tools. On-site role based in Prai, Penang.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronic/Control/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Able to read and understand control drawings.
• Experience with PLC or DCS systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out C&I maintenance (scheduled and breakdown) on plants to minimize downtime.
• Supervise C&I contractors on maintenance and repairs per procedures.
• Liaise with Operations on preventive C&I maintenance programs and SAP-based preventive program.
