Job summary

Grafik Nuri Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to lead electrical works for high-rise construction in Penang. You will plan, coordinate, review drawings, and ensure installations meet specifications and safety standards while coordinating with consultants and site teams.

The role includes monitoring progress, supporting testing and commissioning, and managing cost control with monthly progress claims. A Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years’ experience is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical engineering, especially in high-rise projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; able to interpret technical drawings.

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to manage and coordinate electrical engineering works for high-rise construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, technical coordination, and ensuring electrical systems are implemented according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and monitor electrical engineering works for high-rise projects.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.

Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings and project requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.

Attend site meetings and provide technical support and solutions.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

Assist in testing & commissioning activities.

Prepare project costing, budget monitoring, and cost control.

Prepare and submit monthly progress claims.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and relevant regulations.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical engineering, must have experience handling in high-rise construction projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret technical drawings.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and M&E coordination.

Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Willing to work at project site area Penang

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: RM3,800 – RM5,500 (depending on experience, qualifications and negotiable)
