Job summary

Vantage is seeking a 275kV Resident Engineer, Malaysia to ensure safe, reliable operation of all electrical systems in a data center facility. You will manage HV/LV infrastructure, perform switching, and respond to faults to minimize downtime in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires strong HV expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to operate in mission-critical conditions. English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential for coordination with teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or diploma required.
• 275kV competent engineer certification recognized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Minimum 3–5 years in HV electrical systems or mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance scheduling and work orders for data center facilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HV (275kV/33kV/11kV) and LV systems.
• Perform electrical switching including isolation, energization, and earthing.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, PTW, and LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate with TNB, DOSH, and Energy Commission for regulatory matters.
• Monitor daily power consumption and support system restoration.
