Job summary

Kerry is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Chargeman BO) at the Pasir Gudang site to ensure instrumentation reliability and compliance. You will calibrate instruments, run preventive maintenances, and support continuous improvement of control systems.

Role focuses on troubleshooting, documentation in SAP PM, and project support for new installations. Requires 11kV certification, energy management experience, and 3+ years in instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga BO Chargeman 11kV certificate.
• Registered REM Type 2 under EECA 2024 (eligible).
• Experience managing industrial energy systems (11kV distribution, compressors, boilers, chillers, utilities).
• Experience implementing Energy Management Systems and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Technical Instrumentation systems, calibration, PLC/DCS knowledge, SAP PM (essential); 3+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Calibration & Testing: Plan and execute calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation and control systems.
• Compliance: Ensure all instrumentation activities meet GMP, Food Safety, and OHS regulations.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain calibration, maintenance, and compliance records in SAP PM.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve instrumentation reliability and reduce costs.
• Project Support: Assist in instrumentation design, installation, and commissioning for new projects.
• Training: Provide technical training to maintenance teams on instrumentation practices.
