Job summary

SY Innovation Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable electrical/electronic engineer or technician to read, interpret, and review electrical drawings, schematics and technical specs.

You will assemble control panels according to drawings and work instructions, and lead wiring, cable routing and component installation on a range of equipment. The role requires strong teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and system issues, with Mandarin literacy to liaise with Taiwan

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Able to converse and read in Mandarin to effectively communicate and liaise with customers from Taiwan.
• Experience in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, component assembly, and control systems.
• Experience in machine or equipment assembly and system integration is an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical and system-related issues.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications
• Perform electrical and control panel assembly according to approved drawings and work instructions
• Carry out wiring, cable routing, termination, and installation of electrical components
• Integrate electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems into complete equipment or systems
• Support system installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
• Identify and rectify electrical wiring, assembly, and system integration issues
• Conduct functional testing to ensure systems operate according to design and customer requirements
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Production, Quality, and other relevant departments during assembly and integration
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety requirements, quality standards, and company procedures
• Maintain proper documentation, including drawings, test results, and assembly records
