Job summary

Chipbond Technology Malaysia is seeking an Equipment Engineer for our Penang site to install, configure, and commission new production equipment and systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and collaborate across teams to optimize performance.

Here, you will diagnose issues, develop improvement plans, and maintain thorough records while providing technical support and training to staff on equipment operation. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/ mechatronic/ electrical & electronic engineering or related technical field.
• ≥1 year as Equipment Engineer in semiconductor environment, familiar with sputter (PVD/PECVD), Wafer Sort, Wafer Prober, wafer sawing, taping, grinding, laser marking/grooving, pick and place, tape and reel.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English for coordination/reporting to Taiwan HQ and Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

What we're looking for

• At least 1 years of experience working as an Equipment Engineer in semiconductor environment; Experienced in managing machine related: sputter (PVD/PECVD) / Wafer Sort / Wafer Prober/ wafer sawing / taping / grinding / Laser marking/ Laser grooving/ Pick and Place/ Tape and Reel
• The above positions require proficiency inMandarin, English, as the position involves frequent coordination and reporting to the Taiwan headquarters and Mandarin-speaking clients.
