Job summary

PEMBINAAN TAJRI SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to support the project team. You will assist the Project Manager in coordinating, monitoring and supporting electrical project activities at project sites.

You will review electrical drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions while coordinating works with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a recognised university.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, drawings and project documentation.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and gain on-site electrical project experience.
• Valid driving licence holder.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring electrical project activities.

• Coordinate electrical works with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities.
• Support site meetings, progress reports and documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues under supervision.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Project Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join our project team. The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager in coordinating, monitoring and supporting electrical project activities at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring electrical project activities.

Assist in monitoring project progress, work schedules, manpower, materials and equipment.

Assist in reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions.

Assist in coordinating electrical works with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.

Assist in ensuring electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, TNB requirements and safety procedures.

Assist in monitoring subcontractors’ work progress and site activities.

Attend site meetings and assist in preparing project progress reports, site records and related documentation.

Assist in identifying and resolving technical and site issues under the guidance of the Project Manager or Senior Engineer.

Assist in coordinating electrical works with civil and other project disciplines.

Assist in testing, commissioning, inspection and handover activities where applicable.

Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Possess a valid driving licence.

Knowledge or academic exposure to TNB, HV, substations, underground cables, transmission lines or EPCC projects will be an added advantage.

No prior working experience is required.
