Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, invites an experienced RF engineer to design and test antennas for product development. You will perform RF design, simulations, troubleshooting and validation, building prototypes and ensuring compliance with reliability and regulatory standards.

The role requires a bachelor degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical engineering and at least 3 years of related experience, with familiarity in RF/LTE and ADS; experience with

• Familiar with RF/LTE knowledge and design/simulation tools such as ADS.
• RF/LTE equipment like network/spectrum analyzers is an added advantage.

• Design and development of external and internal antennas.
• RF design, simulation, troubleshooting, optimization, validation and test activities associated with product development.
• Construction of prototypes or proof of concepts for purposes of testing circuit designs as needed, using workbench tools and test equipment.
• Ensure product compliance to reliability and regulatory standards.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor Degree majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or any relevant field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experiences
• Familiar with RF/LTE knowledge, simulation and design tools such as ADS is an added advantage.
• Familiar with RF/LTE equipment such as network analyzer and spectrum analyzer is an added advantage.
• Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well with cross-functional teams.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
