Job summary

DYNAC in Malaysia is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead E&I design and projects on a contract basis. You will manage design work, coordinate with fabrication teams, and participate in FAT with clients to ensure specifications are met.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of five years of related experience. Some travel to client sites may be needed. Contract position based in Pasir Gudang.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with Electrical and Instrumentation design and FAT processes.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, guide and support sub coordinators to complete tasks and deliver projects as required.
• Ensure clear path and flow of work to help the department meet targets.
• Ensure all subordinate projects are well organized and planned.
• Observe and support subordinate career development.
• Review and approve department processes to align with QMS annually.
• Lead design of Electrical & Instrumentation systems as specified.
• Attend meetings with clients.

• 1. To lead, train, guide and support sub coordinator of department to complete task given and to delivery project as per requirement.


• 2. To ensure path and flow of work for department in order for company to achieve target.


• 3. To ensure all project given to subordinate are well organized and planning.


• 4. To observe career development for subordinate.


• 5. To review, analyze and approve department processes to align with Quality Management System (QMS) on yearly basis.


• 6. To lead on design Electrical and Instrumentation System as per required in specification.


• 7. To attend meeting/discussion with client.


• 8. To lead on Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with client.


• 9. To lead on troubleshooting including after sales services especially involving E\&I part.


• 10. To review all E\&I design especially involve in hazardous area.


• 11. To assist on bidding/quotation for E\&I item when request by Deputy CEO or bidding team.


• 12. To communicate and assist between Fabrication Team (Electrical Team) on fabrication issue.


• 13. To do planning on E\&I design/fabrication and installation work based on project dateline.


• 14. Any other related duties that may assign by the superior/management.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT & EXPERIENCE

• 1) Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.


• 2) Minimum 5 years working experiences in related on the job.

A. Technical knowledge/skill :

• 1. Knowledge use of programmers software.


• 1) Strong communication skill both in writing and verbal.


• 1) Use own initiative and can work independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• 1. Have reasonably good heath to undertake a certain degree of stress and pressure.


• 2. Have able to work extra hours to meet deadline as and when required.


• Have able to travel occasionally as and when required
