Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to design, program, test, and commission automation systems. The role requires hands-on PLC/SCADA programming, instrumentation knowledge, and field testing across sites in Malaysia.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control Engineering with at least 3 years of related experience. Travel to client sites is expected, and driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronics/ Instrument and Control Engineering or any related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical/instrumentation control field is preferred.
• Experience with low voltage MCC and VFD is an added advantage.
• Hands-on programming of PLC, SCADA, and touch screens is required.
• Willingness to travel to site and possess own transport with valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review the E&I design and drawings.
• Design and develop programming for automation and control systems involving PLC/Touch Screens/SCADA.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and commissioning work.
• Coordinate project activities internally and with other departments to ensure on-time completion within budget.

Design and develop programming for automation and control system involving PLC/Touch Screens/SCADA

Conduct Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test

Perform the troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and commissioning work

Coordinate project work internally within department and externally with other departments to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget.

Job requirement:

Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronics/ Instrument and Control Engineering or any related field

Minimum 3 years of working experience in the same industry

Experience in Electrical System (Low voltage MCC and VFD), instrumentation and valves is an added advantage.

Good troubleshooting skills on PLC/Instrumentation/MCC and able to understanding wiring/loop/MCC drawings.

Experience in hand on programming of PLC ,SCADA and Touch Screen

Travelling to site is required.

Possess with own transport & valid driving license.
