Job summary

Dynac Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an HVAC Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer on a contract basis to review customer specifications, design DCS/ICS components, prepare deliverables, and guide drafters through engineering drawings.

You will coordinate with the Purchasing Team for MRFs, participate in customer meetings, support FAT testing, and contribute to final project documentation while upholding ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in EE/ME; professional registration preferred.
• Experience in HVAC design and electrical/instrumentation coordination is advantageous.
• Contract role; ability to commute to Pasir Gudang is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand customer technical specifications and requirements.
• Prepare and check engineering deliverables (drawings, procedures, calculations) for customer submission and production.
• Guide draughtsmen in preparing engineering drawings for submission to customers.
• Attend and lead meetings with customers for technical clarifications and progress updates.
• Monitor and expedit e engineering progress to ensure deliverables are approved on schedule.
• Assist in FAT and on-site support for HVAC electrical/instrumentation scope.
• Prepare final project documentation and ensure timely submission per ISO 9001:2015.

1. Review and understand customer technical specification and requirements.

2. Involve in preparing Project Vendor Data Master List (VDML) prior to start the engineering works.

3. Responsible for the design and selection of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control components of HVAC system which shall comply with customer technical specifications.

4. Prepare, review and check Engineering Deliverables (documents, procedures, drawings and calculations etc.) related to HVAC System design, for submission to customer and for production.

5. Monitoring and guiding draughtsman in preparing Engineering drawings for submission to customer.

6. Review comments by customer inside returned deliverables and response accordingly within project/contract agreed timeline.

7. Preparing and issuing Material Requisition Form (MRF) for electrical, instruments and control equipment/components to Purchasing Team, which shall comply with customer technical specifications.

8. To attend and lead meeting with customer for technicial clarification engineering progress.

9. Assist project team by providing related engineering input for the progress report for client review.

10. Monitoring and expediting engineering progress to get deliverables approved within agreed schedule.

11. Involve in electrical panel and equipment fabrication and Factory acceptance Test (FAT) to ensure Project requirement are fulfilled.

12. Support and assist in site related issue for Electrical, Instrumentation and Control of HVAC system.

13. Support and assist for Electrical, Instrumentation and Control of HVAC system for bidding/tender projects.

14. Involved in preparing Project Final Documentation and to ensure the document submitted within agreed schedule.

15. To implement ISO 9001 : 2015 as per company policy.

16. Any other related duties that may assign by the superior or management.
