Job summary

DYNAC in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC design to support project teams in Pasir Gudang, Johor. Candidates will review customer specs, design HVAC systems and major equipment, and prepare detailed calculations. No prior experience required, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

The role involves guiding drafters, preparing procedures, reviewing drawings, and participating in customer meetings to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Entry level considered; open to fresh graduates.
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles and design requirements.
• Ability to perform accurate HVAC calculations and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Review customer technical specs and prepare project data master list (VDML).
• Design HVAC system flows and major equipment per contract specs (AHU, Condensing Unit,Fans, Dampers).
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations (heat load, pressure drop, noise).
• Guide draughtsmen in producing submission drawings.
• Prepare and issue HVAC document procedures (FAT, erection, leak tests).
• Review drawings before submission to customer and for production.
• Attend meetings with customer for technical clarification and progress updates.
• Provide engineering input for progress reports and client reviews.
• Monitor and expedite engineering progress to meet schedules.
• Prepare final project documentation within agreed timelines.
• Implement QMS ISO 9001:2015 as required.

1. 1. Review and understand customer technical specification and requirements.
2. 2. To involve in preparing Project Vendor Data Master List (VDML) prior to start the engineering works.
3. 3. Designing suitable HVAC system process flow concept and philosophy which shall comply with customer technical specification.
4. 4. Designing HVAC Major Equipments which shall comply with customer technical specification, (Air Handling Unit, Condensing Unit, Extract fan, Dampers, etc).
5. 5. Preparing Detail Engineering Calculations which are related to HVAC system design, (Heat load calculation, air pressure drop calculation, structure calculation, noise calculation, etc).
6. 6. Monitoring and guiding draughtsman in preparing Engineering Drawings for Submission to customer.
7. 7. Preparing HVAC Document Procedures such as FAT Procedures, Erection Installation Procedure, Leak Test Procedures, etc.)
8. 8. Review and check all the Engineering Drawings before submission to customer and for production.
9. 9. Review comments by customer on the Engineering drawings and documents and response accordingly within specified date.
10. 10. Preparing and issuing Material Requisition for HVAC equipments and components to Purchasing Team.
11. 11. To attend and lead meeting with customer for technical clarification and engineering progress.
12. 12. Assist Project Team by providing related engineering input for the progress report for client review.
13. 13. Monitoring and expediting Engineering progress to get documents and drawings approved within agreed schedule.
14. 14. Involve in preparing Project Final Documentation and to ensure the document submitted within agreed schedule.
15. 15. To implement QMS ISO 9001 : 2015.Any other related that may assign by the superior / management

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT & EXPERIENCE

Education - 1) Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Work experience - 1) Not required & open to entry level.
