Job summary

Taiace Energy Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to support our engineering and project delivery team on site.

You will gain hands-on experience in site works, project coordination, installation monitoring, and technical documentation while working with senior engineers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and to specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and calculations.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and work at office and site environments.
• Good communication and coordination with teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site surveys, inspections and technical assessments.
• Plan and coordinate electrical works for ongoing projects.
• Monitor installation works and site activities for compliance.
• Prepare site reports, progress reports, inspection records and submissions.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and specs.
• Prepare basic BOQ, material requirements and calculations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, clients and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and flag technical issues or delays.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Ensure works follow safety procedures and project specs.
• Attend project and site coordination meetings and prepare proposals.
• Support other engineering and operational activities as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to support our engineering and project delivery team.

This role is suitable for candidates who are willing to gain hands‑on experience in site works, project coordination, installation monitoring, technical documentation and electrical engineering activities across various projects.

You will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, according to specifications and within the required timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting site surveys, site inspections and technical assessments.
• Assist in planning and coordinating electrical and engineering works for ongoing projects.
• Monitor installation works, contractors and site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including:
  • Site reports
  • Progress reports
  • Inspection records
  • Technical submissions
  • Testing and commissioning records
• Assist in reviewing electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, layouts and technical specifications.
• Assist in preparing basic BOQ, material requirements and technical calculations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, clients and internal departments on technical and project matters.
• Monitor project progress and highlight any technical issues, delays or site constraints to the Project Manager.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and project handover.
• Ensure works are carried out according to applicable safety procedures, engineering standards and project specifications.
• Attend project meetings and site coordination meetings when required.
• Assist in preparing quotations, technical proposals and project-related documentation.
• Support other engineering and operational activities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, engineering drawings and electrical calculations.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and gain hands‑on exposure in both office and site environments.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with different teams.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently with guidance.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.
