Job summary

Formee Holdings is seeking a Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical scope for Data Centre projects. You will coordinate with consultants, vendors, and subcontractors, review design submissions, and ensure compliance with standards across design, construction, and commissioning stages.

This role requires travel to project sites in Negeri Sembilan and Pahang, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years' of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design principles, wiring, and safety practices.
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Willing to travel regularly to project sites in Negeri Sembilan and Pahang.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the electrical engineering scope for Design & Build Data Centre projects.
• Review and manage electrical design submissions for compliance with project specifications, client requirements, local authority regulations, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, design partners, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless design integration.
• Resolve technical issues during design development and construction phases.
• Participate in design workshops, value engineering initiatives, and constructability reviews.
• Support project execution from detailed design through construction and final handover.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Identify project risks and propose technical mitigation strategies.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating vendor submissions.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality.
• Review and respond to RFIs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve engineering and construction issues.
• Ensure works are executed safely and in accordance with project schedules.
• Develop and review Testing & Commissioning (T&C) plans and procedures.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), IST, and iFAT, where applicable.
• Support commissioning activities and witness functional performance testing.
• Ensure all commissioning documentation and as-built records are complete before project handover.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, utility providers, and internal project teams.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering solutions.
• Support project reporting and technical presentations.
• Prepare and review all project documentation, reports, correspondence, technical submissions, inspection records, and progress claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, utility providers, and internal project teams.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering solutions.

Documentation & Administrative Support

• Prepare and review all project documentation, reports, correspondence, technical submissions, inspection records, and progress claims. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior from time to time as required
