Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing on electronic module samples and measure parameters.
• Perform AM2 measurements and analyze Energy/Spike curves.
• Support software flashing into electronic module devices.
• Operate oscilloscopes, power supplies and electronic loads for tests.
• Perform hand soldering, SMT touch-up, and PCBA rework.
• Record and maintain accurate test data and documentation.
• Coordinate monthly asset tagging for lab equipment (ETD3).Support monthly scrapping activities and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain Lab cleanliness and organized workspaces; ensure proper cataloging.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet requirements.

Job Title: Electrical & Electronics Engineer

Working Arrangement: On-Site (Monday to Friday)

Salary range: up to RM3,300.00 only.

About the role:

We are currently hiring on behalf of our client. Our client is seeking for a skilled Electrical and Electronics Engineer who is responsible to assist in electronic testing, assembly and lab operations, for electronic modules. Assist in maintaining lab equipment, coordinating asset tagging and scrapping, and compiling test data. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaborate with the team to meet targets.

What you'll be doing:

Conduct functional testing on electronic module samples, including measurement of parameters such as Output Motor (V), Cut-off Output Current (A), and Cut-off Timing (S)

Perform AM2 measurements, including analysis of Energy Curves and Spike Curves

Support flashing of software into electronic module devices

Operate and handle electronic measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads

Perform electronic assembly tasks including hand soldering, solder touch-up, and PCBA rework

Compile, record, and maintain accurate test data and measurement results in proper documentation format

Coordinate and execute monthly equipment asset tagging activities as assigned (ETD3 coordinator role)

Support monthly scrapping activities and ensure completion in a timely manner

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper upkeep of the electronic laboratory

Ensure all equipment is properly cataloged and workspaces are tidy before and after usage

Work closely with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed effectively and according to requirements

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Knowledge & Technical Skills:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience

Understanding of electronic test procedures and specifications

Hands-on experience in electrical and electronic measurement activities

Ability to perform testing independently with minimal supervision

Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, power supply, electronic load)

Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in soldering (SMT components preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Able to follow instructions accurately and consistently meet targets

Good planning and task execution skills

Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

Team player with good communication and coordination skills
