Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical design principles.
• Good communication in Mandarin and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical building services for industrial, data centre and commercial projects.
• Prepare electrical load calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, ELV, CCTV, PA, intercom, and IT infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other consultants.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical discussions.
• Participate in factory tool installation and facility expansion projects.
• Assist with authority submissions and utility coordination.
• Gain exposure to electrical power systems ranging from low voltage and medium voltage 33kV to 132kV system design.

We are an established and growing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) consulting engineering firm involved in exciting projects including data centres, industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, commercial developments, and factory expansions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop towards becoming a Professional Engineer (PE). Candidates with Data Center design experience and Mandarin proficiency will have an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical building services for industrial, data center and commercial project
• Prepare electrical load calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, ELV, CCTV, PA, intercom, and IT infrastructure systems
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other consultants
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical discussions
• Participate in factory tool installation and facility expansion projects
• Assist with authority submissions and utility coordination
• Gain exposure to electrical power systems ranging from low voltage and medium voltage 33kV to 132kV system design

About you

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical design principles
• Good communication in Mandarin and teamwork skills
• Candidates preferably with 2 to 5 years of design experience.
• Willing to travel when required
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence
• Candidates with M&E consulting or building services experience in design are an advantage
