Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to M&E consulting projects. You will design electrical building services for industrial, data centre and commercial facilities, and prepare load calculations, drawings, and specifications.

You'll work with architects and engineers, travel when required, and pursue a path towards becoming a Professional Engineer (PE) with opportunities for training and development. 5-day workweeks and medical benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical design principles.
• Good communication in Mandarin and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical building services for industrial, data center and commercial project
• Prepare electrical load calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, ELV, CCTV, PA, intercom, and IT infrastructure systems
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other consultants
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical discussions
• Participate in factory tool installation and facility expansion projects
• Assist with authority submissions and utility coordination
• Gain exposure to electrical power systems ranging from low voltage and medium voltage 33kV to 132kV system design

Electrical Design Engineer for M&E Consulting Company

We are an established and growing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) consulting engineering firm involved in exciting projects including data centres, industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, commercial developments, and factory expansions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and develop towards becoming a Professional Engineer (PE). Candidates with Data Center design experience and Mandarin proficiency will have an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

Design electrical building services for industrial, data center and commercial project
