Job summary

Hop Shing Generator Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support maintenance teams on projects, including replacement of obsolete technology and modifications to existing controls for improved process control, reliability, safety and OSHA compliance.

You will design electrical and electronic control and communication systems for production equipment, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and coordinate installation with contractors and plant personnel to meet

Qualifications

Hands-on knowledge of instrument and electrical systems, equipment and software.
Minimum 1+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
Broad-based experience with electrical systems and control software.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to maintenance on projects and replace obsolete technology.
Modify existing controls for improved process control, reliability, safety and OSHA compliance.
Update electrical prints, PLC programs, and operator interface software for documentation.
Design electrical and electronic control and communication systems for production equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation maintenance issues and document accordingly.
Coordinate installation of electrical equipment by contractors and plant personnel to meet schedules.
Deliver electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance for client sites.
