Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a diligent assistant to support the Electrical Engineer in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across our production facilities. You will help troubleshoot electrical equipment, PLC, SCADA and process instrumentation, assist in electrical installation, modification and improvement projects, and keep technical documents and maintenance records up to date.

Work closely with production teams, contractors and vendors, identify machine issues, follow safety

Qualifications

Interest in electrical maintenance and industrial equipment.
Willingness to assist across preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA and instrumentation is a plus.
Ability to read technical documents and maintenance records.
Commitment to safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist the Electrical Engineer in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical equipment, PLC, SCADA and process instrumentation.
Support electrical installation, modification and improvement projects.
Assist in updating technical documents, maintenance records and spare parts records.
Liaise with production, contractors and vendors when required.
Assist in identifying and troubleshooting machine issues.
Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Perform other maintenance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
