Job summary

Easteel Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Electrical Maintenance Engineer to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot motors, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems while maintaining transformers, switchboards, MCCs, and power distribution systems.

You will respond to production breakdowns, support electrical maintenance across buildings and utilities, and participate in electrical installation

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to support breakdowns, shutdowns, overtime, or on-call activities when required.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Maintain transformers, Main Switchboards, Sub-Switchboards, MCCs, and power distribution systems.
Inspect electrical protection systems and ensure proper operation.
Respond promptly to production breakdowns and restore equipment operation.
Maintain electrical systems for buildings, workshops, offices, warehouses, and other facilities.
Develop and improve electrical preventive maintenance programs.
Analyze electrical failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
Participate in electrical installation, modification, upgrading, and commissioning.
Ensure electrical work complies with company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
