Job summary

Ovivo Water seeks an Electrical/Automation Engineer in Malaysia to lead engineering of electrical and control systems compliant with local codes and project specs. The role involves panel wiring/design, testing, and commissioning.

The successful candidate will coordinate with stakeholders, enhance commissioning efficiency, and contribute to improving switchboard and control panel designs. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with water/wastewater exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Automation / Software / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; water/wastewater environment preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems in Electrical and Instrumentation.

• Responsible for the engineering of electrical and control system.
• Ensure compliance to required local codes and project specifications.
• Panel wiring and it design
• Testing and commissioning of electrical system
• Review the commissioning work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Proficient with the testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with all sections for testing/ commissioning requirements with different stakeholders and arrange for facilities and instruments for the job.
• Develop & improve on design of electrical switchboard & control panels.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Automation / Software / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
• Preferably with experiences in water/wastewater environment. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrate experience in troubleshooting and problem solving in the Electrical and Instrumentation area.
• Strong experience and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single line, schematics, and specifications.
• Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, customers, vendors and visitors.
• Proficient with MS Office and related Engineering Software (such as Siemens SIMATIC, AutoCAD, Eplan).
• Proficient in English language, both oral and written.
• Ability to work well both independently and as a team.
