Job summary

PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Electrical Maintenance Technician to operate, inspect and maintain electrical installations in our manufacturing facility. You will monitor electrical systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and help ensure reliable plant operations.

The ideal candidate holds a valid ST Chargeman Certificate (A0 preferred) and has hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Chargeman Certificate, preferably A0, appropriate to the role.
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and applicable regulations.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, or standby duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain electrical installations and equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
• Monitor electrical systems to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate repair work to minimise downtime.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, maintenance activities, and electrical faults.
• Assist in coordinating contractors and maintenance activities when required.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company requirements.
