Jora Malaysia is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee on-site safety in our construction projects. The role requires a Yellow Book Certificate and a minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health. You will lead site activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with the Act and regulations.

Candidate must possess a valid Yellow Book Certificate.
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills with the ability to represent the company professionally to stakeholders and business partners.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate site activities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Good understanding of construction operations, business practices, and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Full-time on safety supervision and on promoting the safe conduct of work generally within the site
Ensure that the provisions of the Act and any regulations made thereunder are complied with;
Promote the safe conduct of work generally within the worksite;
Inspecting and rectifying any unsafe place of work;
Correcting any unsafe practice;
Checking sub-constructors' workplace to ensure compliance with the Act and the regulations made thereunder;
To play a role in monitoring and enforcing safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all site personnel, promptly reporting and addressing any safety concerns or incidents.
Prepare Safety and Health report and documents to main contractor SHE officer.
To liaise with contractor's safety supervisors appointed with respect to safety of work undertaken by sub-contractors.
