Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks an energetic EHS Officer to lead site safety setups at a brand-new facility in Selangor, ensuring compliance and driving a robust HSE program.

The role requires a degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field and a minimum of 3 years HSE experience, preferably in semiconductor/E&E manufacturing, with ISO 45001/ISO 14001 expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience; semiconductor/E&E manufacturing preferred.
• Experience implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize HSE management systems aligned with ISO 45001/ISO 14001.
• Author and enforce corporate HSE policies worldwide to drive safety culture.
• Coordinate and follow up on HSE incident reports to implement corrective actions.
• Lead site prevention committee to identify hazards and drive preventive strategies.
• Head the emergency response organization and direct crisis management readiness.
• Identify evolving HSE regulations and lead internal audits and certification bodies.

• Manage and continually optimize global health, safety, and environmental management systems in strict alignment with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.


• Author, deploy, and enforce comprehensive corporate HSE policies worldwide, driving a proactive, continuous-improvement safety culture across all organizational levels.


• Coordinate, monitor, and follow up on all HSE incident reports (including accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions) to implement definitive corrective actions.


• Lead the site prevention committee to identify potential hazards, drive preventive strategies, and support global risk-mitigation efforts.


• Serve as the strategic head of the emergency response organization, directing crisis management readiness and mitigation plans.


• Identify and implement evolving global HSE regulations while leading internal audits and hosting external certification bodies.
