Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking an EHS/SHO Officer (with Green Book) to ensure regulatory compliance within a manufacturing setting. You will develop safety policies, conduct HIRARC assessments and audits, and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.

The role requires a DOSH Green Book registered SHO, a related degree or diploma, and at least 1 year of experience in a factory environment. CePSWaM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in OSH, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• Valid DOSH Green Book and SHO registration.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or related industrial experience.
• Hands-on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audits.
• CePSWaM certification is a plus.

• Develop, review and maintain safety policies, SOPs and compliance registers.

POSITION: EHS/SHO OFFICER (WITH GREEN BOOK )

About the Company

Our client is an established engineering and manufacturing company specialising in industrial automation and sheet metal fabrication, with a strong focus on workplace safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with DOSH, DOE, and other relevant occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Develop, review, and maintain safety policies, SOPs, and legal compliance registers.

Conduct HIRARC assessments, investigate workplace incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with relevant regulatory authorities.

Prepare EHS reports and maintain safety documentation and records.

Conduct safety training, emergency drills, and regular workplace inspections.

Promote workplace safety awareness and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Must possess a valid DOSH Green Book and be registered with DOSH as a Safety & Health Officer (SHO).

Minimum 1 year of working experience in manufacturing or a related industrial environment.

Hands-on experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audits.

CePSWaM certification is an added advantage.

Good knowledge of occupational safety, health, and environmental legislation.

Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
