EHS Manager, Safety & Compliance Leader

Job summary

PPG Industries Malaysia seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead environment, health and safety programs for the PJ site, SSC UOA office and Malaysia operations. You will develop and implement EHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and report to the SEA Senior Regional EHS Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 7–8 years of EH&S experience, and strong communication to influence site leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, safety, engineering, environment or equivalent.
• Minimum 7–8 years of EH&S experience.
• Valid Safety and Health Officer Green Book holder.
• Scheduled Waste Manager or Filter Bag competent certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the implementation of EHS processes at PJ site and SSC UOA office.
• Communicate and implement regulations with management and EHS Team.
• Convey EHS knowledge, practices, technologies and implementation strategies used by others inside and outside of PPG.
• Participate in new project ACT EHS reviews, audits, and approval processes
• Lead EHS KPI development and site PLP alignment across SBUs.
