Job summary

JLL in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is seeking an EHS Executive to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives on-site. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive risk reduction, and promote a proactive safety culture across facilities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of experience, and certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA. ISO standards experience is beneficial and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering is required.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certifications are highly valuable.
• Experience implementing and managing safety programs is essential; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety measures.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes.
• Manage environmental aspects like waste, emissions, and resource conservation.
• Maintain EHS records, prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies, and manage documentation for certifications like ISO.
• Coordinate internal and external EHS audits to verify compliance and identify improvements.
