The role covers risk assessment, safety audits, incident investigations, training, and regulatory reporting, with cross-department collaboration to maintain a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in an EHS Engineer or similar role in manufacturing.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and ISO standards (ISO14001/ISO45001).
• Strong analytical and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in Chinese preferred for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EHS programs to ensure legal and internal compliance.

Job Summary

Responsible for leading and managing the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure full compliance with legal requirements and internal standards. This includes risk assessment, safety audits, incident investigations, employee training, and regulatory reporting, especially related to DOE, DOSH, and Bomba. The role also involves managing ISO14001 & ISO45001 compliance, scheduled waste handling, and promoting a safe, sustainable work environment.

What you'll be doing

Lead and implement EHS initiatives in compliance with legal and company requirements.

Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions.

Review and update EHS procedures; conduct risk and impact assessments.

Ensure adherence to 6S standards and ISO14001/ISO45001 requirements.

Manage scheduled waste inventory, DOE eSWiS reporting, and related documentation.

Liaise with DOSH, DOE, and Bomba during inspections and inquiries.

Provide EHS training at all levels and promote a safety-first culture.

Maintain all EHS documentation and regulatory reporting.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience working as an EHS Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Thorough understanding of environmental regulations, ISO standards, and best practices in EHS management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address environmental and safety concerns.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.

Candidates fluent in Chinese preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Chinese speaking clients.
