Job summary

Servay Evergreen Sdn Bhd in Sabah is seeking an EG Buyer Data Analyst to join our procurement and supply chain team in Penampang. This full-time role focuses on turning data into actionable merchandising recommendations and optimized inventory decisions.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in a business analytics related field with 2–5 years of relevant experience, advanced Excel skills, and powerful Power BI capabilities. SQL knowledge is preferred to support data extraction and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Retail Management or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in supermarket, FMCG, pharmacy, convenience retail, department store, wholesale/distribution is an advantage
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, data analysis and reporting tools. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory
• Candidates with Intermediate to Advanced Power BI skills are strongly preferred
• Basic to Intermediate SQL is preferred
• Experience extracting, cleaning and analyzing POS, sales, inventory, purchasing or ERP data
• Good understanding of SKU sales, product categories, margins, stock turnover, sell-through, promotions, pricing and inventory
• Must be able to turn data into recommendations for buyers
• Able to confidently challenge and question buyers using supporting evidence

About the role

Servay Evergreen Sdn Bhd is seeking an EG Buyer Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Penampang, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our procurement and supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

Monitor SKU sales and identify best/slow sellers.

Monitor standard selling prices.

Identify items requiring promotional intervention.

Analyse sales by outlet/category/SKU.

Recommend assortment and allocation changes.

Monitor buyer budgets and sales targets.

Identify stock-outs and abnormal inventory.

Produce actionable recommendations for merchandising.

What we're looking for
