Job summary

Ipoh Office in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support educators at Seri Botani. This full-time position focuses on classroom assistance, coordinating activities, and safeguarding students.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and possess good English communication skills. You will participate in school events, after-school programmes, and field trips, with benefits including health insurance and paid leave.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interaction skills with students.

Responsibilities

To be updated with education pedagogy/development and emerging technologies.
To assist with implementation of co-curricular activities.
To actively participate in school activities and events.
To assist in safeguarding the students’ safety and welfare.
To assist and ensure that all duties are carried out professionally, ethically and in a timely manner.
To prepare materials for lessons and decorate the classroom.
To clean and sanitize all materials / teaching aids used.
To accompany students on field trips or other outing events.
To monitor students during lunch breaks and recess to ensure they are well-behaved.
Be present in staff meetings and other school functions.
To supervise students to ensure they engage in learning during lessons.
To be in charge of the After-School Programme.
