Job summary

ISP is seeking an education professional to support planning, assessment, and student wellbeing at our Ipoh campus. The role involves coordinating with the Head of Level, Academic Coordinator, and psychology staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in Education or Psychology, with a Master’s preferred, and demonstrate strong English, digital skills, and classroom management. A minimum of two years in education is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in digital tools and software applications.
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
• Advanced English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance and send plans via email to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize materials for classes.
• Maintain the grade book and enter grades on time.
• Design and prepare monthly assessments for each topic.
• Grade all assigned work and manage attendance records.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic or behavioral issues.
• Support students with special needs, including gifted learners, with the Academic Coordinator and psychologist.
• Attend meetings with teachers, academic coordinators, and assistant principals.
• Participate in parent meetings and school activities.
• Comply with the established work schedule and act as mediator for student well-being.
• Collaborate with the psychologist to organize community service and fundraising activities.
• Record daily attendance and collect portfolio work.
• Encourage student participation in subcommittees and ensure open communication with parents.
