Job summary

Pusat Jagaan Ceria Mesra in Selangor is seeking a patient and dedicated teacher to work with primary school children. You will guide students, check work, and provide learning support while maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Basic Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia communication is required, with English knowledge. Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided and a 5-day work week with career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/STPM/UEC or equivalent required.
• University students and fresh graduates welcome.
• Teaching or child-care experience is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise primary school students with completing their homework and exercises.
• Check students' work for completeness, accuracy and neatness.
• Provide explanations and learning support according to each student's level.
• Assist in teaching primary school subjects, including Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics and Science.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Observe students' learning progress and daily well-being.
