Job summary

Pusat Perkembangan Minda Lestari Biji Benih in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dedicated educator for a teaching + centre operations role. You will deliver Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu programmes and support administrative tasks alongside teaching.

Applicants with minimum SPM and Grade B in three languages, or Diploma/Degree holders with good communication skills are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM with Grade B or above in Chinese, English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Diploma or Degree holders are preferred.
• Good command of Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu.
• Teaching experience is an advantage; training will be provided.
• Passionate about working with young children.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons across Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu programmes.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers and management to resolve classroom and operational matters.
• Support centre initiatives including marketing, events, and activities.
• Ensure facilities are maintained and safe.
• Carry out administrative duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Development

• Conduct lessons for children across our Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu programmes.

• Monitor and record students’ learning progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

• Adapt teaching approaches according to students’ individual learning needs and abilities.

• Create a supportive, patient, and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and growth.

• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ learning progress and classroom matters.

Centre Administration & Operations

• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents by handling enquiries, feedback, and concerns.

• Monitor student progress and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching quality, learning materials, and lesson planning.

• Work closely with teachers and management to resolve classroom and operational matters.

• Support centre initiatives including marketing activities, social media management, student activities, and event coordination.

• Ensure the centre’s facilities, learning resources, cleanliness, safety, and overall learning environment are properly maintained and organised.

• Perform administrative and operational duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the centre.

• Carry out other reasonable responsibilities assigned by management.
