Job summary

Sunsuria Bhd is seeking a senior HR leader to head the Education Division in Malaysia, based in Sepang. The role partners with the Executive Principal, SLT, and Group HR to drive people strategies, governance, and a positive employee experience.

You will oversee HR strategy, compliance, workforce planning, compensation, payroll, performance, and lifecycle processes, including academic contracts and expatriate onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 10+ years HR experience with 3+ years in leadership/HRBP.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and immigration.
• Experience in education or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy and governance for Education Division.
• Ensure compliance with employment, immigration and education regs.
• Oversee workforce planning and recruitment aligned to enrolment growth.
• Develop compensation structures and oversee payroll for Sunsuria Education.
• Manage performance management and employee lifecycle.
• Lead academic contract management and expatriate onboarding.
