Job summary

Brilliant Counselling & Solutions Sdn Bhd in Batu Pahat, Johor is seeking a friendly education counsellor. You will advise students and families on university and course options, based on goals, results and budget, and you will guide applications to local and international universities.

You will represent BCS at education fairs and school visits, engage with prospective students via WhatsApp and in person, and help build lasting relationships throughout the education journey.

Qualifications

• Warm, outgoing and genuinely interested in helping students and families.
• Confident communicating with students and parents at fairs, tours and events.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Self-motivated, responsible and eager to learn.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp and basic computer applications.
• Willing to travel occasionally and participate in education-related events.
• Diploma or Degree preferred; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• No previous experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents on university and course selection based on their goals, academic results and budget.
• Guide students through applications to local and international universities.
• Represent BCS at education fairs, school visits and outreach events.
• Engage with prospective students, answer their questions and introduce suitable study options.
• Organise and lead campus tours to partner universities.
• Build genuine, lasting relationships with students and parents throughout their education journey.
• Follow up with enquiries warmly and professionally through WhatsApp, phone calls and face-to-face meetings.
• Stay informed about university programmes, entry requirements, intakes and scholarships.
• Work towards individual enrolment targets and contribute to the growth of BCS.
• Travel occasionally for education fairs, campus tours, school visits and other events.
