Role Summary
A student-facing role focused on education consultation, student recruitment and enrollment, with opportunities to engage directly with students and parents both on campus and at recruitment events.
- Guide students and parents in choosing suitable Foundation, Diploma and Degree programmes based on their interests, qualifications and future plans.
- Manage enquiries and follow-ups, and support prospective students throughout the application and enrollment process.
- Represent the university at school visits, Open Days, education fairs, career fairs, roadshows and other recruitment events.
- Work towards student recruitment targets and earn commission for successful student enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Parent Consultation
- Meet and speak with prospective students and parents to understand their interests, qualifications and study plans.
- Recommend suitable academic programmes based on their needs and goals.
- Explain programme details, entry requirements, fees, scholarships and application procedures.
- Respond to enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, email and online platforms.
- Guide students through the application, registration and enrollment process.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
Student Recruitment
- Follow up on leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, school visits, events, referrals and walk‑ins.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, school counsellors and education partners.
- Work towards individual and team student recruitment targets.
- Support efforts to convert enquiries into applications and successful enrollments.
School Visits & Recruitment Events
- Represent the university at secondary schools, private schools, colleges, career fairs, education fairs, Open Days, roadshows and exhibitions.
- Promote the university's academic programmes and provide information to prospective students.
- Assist with education talks, presentations, booth activities and student engagement activities.
- Engage with students, parents, teachers and school counsellors during recruitment events.
- Support the planning and execution of recruitment campaigns and activities.
Lead & Database Management
- Maintain accurate records of prospective students and follow‑up activities.
- Update the CRM/database regularly and ensure leads are followed up in a timely manner.
- Monitor prospective students throughout the recruitment and enrollment process.
- Prepare basic recruitment reports when required.
Market & Recruitment Support
- Keep up to date with competitor programmes, education trends and student preferences.
- Gather feedback from students, parents, schools and recruitment events.
- Share relevant market and recruitment insights with the team.
- Assist with other admissions, marketing and recruitment activities as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, education counselling, recruitment, retail, telemarketing or a similar role are welcome.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with students, parents, teachers and members of the public.
- Confident in presenting and explaining information to different audiences.
- Friendly, approachable and able to build relationships easily.
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working towards targets.
- Willing to learn and develop skills in education counselling and student recruitment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
- Willing to work on selected weekends for Open Days, education fairs and peak intake periods.
- Willing to travel for school visits, roadshows and recruitment events.
