Job summary

Reeracoen (Malaysia) is seeking an E-Waste Operations Supervisor / Specialist to oversee day-to-day e-waste processing operations, including receiving, inspection, sorting, dismantling, material recovery, storage and dispatch.

The role requires a hands-on professional with practical experience in e-waste recycling or related electronic waste processing activities, to organize the operations team, improve recovery efficiency, minimise losses, and ensure proper waste segregation and safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on professional with practical experience in e-waste recycling or electronic waste processing.
• Experience in PCB recovery and handling scheduled waste is preferred.
• Ability to ensure safety and environmental compliance in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise e-waste receiving, inspection, sorting, dismantling and processing activities.
• Identify and segregate different categories of electronic/electrical waste and components.
• Organise workers involved in dismantling and material recovery.
• Identify recoverable materials such as PCB, copper, aluminium, cables, electronic components, steel and plastics.
• Improve recovery efficiency and minimise material losses.
• Ensure different waste streams are properly segregated, labelled and stored.
• Maintain proper material and inventory records.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing e-waste materials.
• Ensure operations comply with relevant environmental, scheduled-waste, safety and internal requirements.
• Work with management on equipment, processing methods and expansion of e-waste capabilities.

The E-Waste Operations Supervisor / Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of e-waste processing, including material receiving, inspection, sorting, dismantling, material recovery, storage, and dispatch.

The role requires a hands-on professional with practical experience in e-waste recycling, electronic waste processing, PCB recovery, scheduled waste, or similar recycling operations.

The successful candidate will be expected to organize the operational team, improve material recovery efficiency, minimise material losses, ensure proper waste segregation and compliance with environmental and safety requirements, and support the company’s expansion of e-waste recycling capabilities.
