Job summary

ECCO STEEL INDUSTRIES SDN BHD, located in Taman Senai, Johor, is seeking a responsible Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory management, and documentation processes. The role ensures smooth coordination of deliveries, accurate stock handling, and proper system updates while maintaining efficient warehouse administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/STPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related operations experience preferred; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and transport coordination.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Able to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Logistics & Transport Coordination: Book & coordinate daily lorry requirements and track deliveries.
• Update daily lorry delivery records for timely distribution.
• Perform weighing tasks to ensure accuracy for receiving and shipping.
• Documentation & Administrative Support: Generate PO for transport services and liaise with Finance.
• Systematic filing and sorting of returned DO from transporters.
• Prepare and issue Mill Certificates for outgoing products.
• Inventory & System Management: Record incoming materials (BRC & Wire Rod) into the system.
• Post and update scrap material records.
• Verify and receive incoming materials (WR/BRC) to match physical stock.
• Backup for CTS preparation when necessary.
