Job summary

Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Management-level leader to supervise daily restaurant operations, including Restaurants/Bars and Room Service where applicable. You will assist with menu planning, maintain sanitation standards, and support servers and hosts on the floor during peak times to maximize guest satisfaction and financial performance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with 4 years in F&B, or a 2-year degree with 2 years in F&B, along with strong leadership,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years’ experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
• 2-year degree in Food Service Management/Hotel and Restaurant Management/Hospitality/Business Administration with 2 years experience in F&B/culinary or related professional area

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages daily restaurant operations, including on-floor support during peak meal periods
• Maintains sanitation standards across restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas
• Reviews staffing levels to ensure guest service, operations and financial objectives are met
• Provides leadership and coaching to staff, ensuring adherence to policies and legal requirements
• Oversees guest service delivery from welcome to departure, ensuring satisfaction and timely service

Education
