Job summary

OHG Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Senior Supervisor / Duty Manager to oversee hotel operations in Malaysia. The role focuses on front office leadership, guest satisfaction and ensuring high standards of service in busy periods.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in hotels, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred, with willingness to work shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel operations, front office or customer service.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Guest-focused with a passion for hospitality.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lobby and public areas are staffed during busy times.
• Talk with guests and provide general assistance.
• Manage, record and promptly resolve guest complaints.
• Welcome VIP guests and major corporate clients.
• Coordinate services for long-stay guests.
• Follow credit procedures and SOPs.
• Stay updated on hotel products, policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor guest satisfaction reports and drive improvements.
• Prepare and distribute required reports.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and local regulations.
• Manage monthly rosters and staff records.
• Provide feedback to Hotel Manager on subordinates’ performance.
• Liaise with outside contractors/vendors.
• Authorize payouts per procedure.
• Review Daily Night Audit, Daily Cash Drop, occupancy reports.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety across hotel areas.
• Be prepared to assist as instructed by Hotel Manager.
