Hong Seng Assembly Sdn Bhd is seeking a dependable transporter responsible for driving trucks and trailers to various destinations, ensuring on-time arrivals at customer sites and warehouses. The role includes responding to breakdowns, arranging towing, and monitoring routes and weather to mitigate delays.

The position requires safe driving, regular vehicle checks, fueling, and maintaining trip documentation while adhering to road safety rules and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport trucks/trailers safely to and from designated destinations.
• Ensure timely arrival at customer sites, warehouses, and other assigned locations.
• Remain available to respond to truck breakdowns and arrange towing when necessary.
• Monitor traffic conditions, road construction, and weather to anticipate delays.
• Use GPS and navigation applications to determine the safest and most efficient routes.
• Deliver and collect trailers/trucks from customer companies and warehouses.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly fueled, maintained, and ready for operation.
• Arrange vehicle servicing and repairs when required.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation related to trips, deliveries, and vehicle condition.
