Job summary

LSM Metal Ace in Malaysia is seeking a reliable lorry/truck driver to safely transport goods to various destinations. You will ensure timely deliveries while complying with traffic rules and safety regulations, inspect vehicles, and assist with loading/unloading.

Candidates should have valid licenses, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently with flexible hours. We offer competitive salary based on experience and benefits including EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.

Qualifications

• Valid GDL license and E-Full license required.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Proven experience as a lorry/truck driver preferred.
• Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• 100% document checks before delivery/collection.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company lorries to transport goods to destinations.
• Ensure timely delivery while adhering to road safety regulations.

Job description

• Safely operate company lorries to transport goods to various destinations.
• Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to road safety regulations.
• Inspect and maintain the lorry to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues to management.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding transport and safety.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid GDL license & E-Full license.
• Clean Driving Record: Proven track record of safe driving with no major violations or accidents.
• Proven experience as a lorry/truck driver is preferred.
• Good knowledge of traffic rules and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Ensure 100% check of all documents prior to leaving the premises for delivery or collection.
• Deliver and collect goods according to required schedule.
• Report stock damage, defects and shortage to supervisor upon detection.
• Handle all goods with care and according to goods handling requirement to prevent damage before and upon deliveries.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and landmarks (PASSPORT must be valid for at least 6 months)
• Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, as required.
